In Spring, the natural forces that have an influence on our health  begin to unfold like a fragile sprout rising up out of the earth. All  that natural energy stored up through winter hibernation is now  encouraged to flow steadily outward. Rising yang energy visibly comes  alive as the day’s heading into Summer grow longer and warmer. This  rising and moving energetic nature of Spring affects the Liver functions  of coursing and discharging qi throughout the body. Based on 5 Element  principles the eyes, joints and the sides of the body correspond to the  Liver system.
